In the context of the event 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen, Barovier&Toso takes part in the all-Italian exhibition “I maestri della bellezza”, a prestigious showcase on the Scandinavian and Northern European market.
From 3 to 5 September, Barovier&Toso will take part in 3daysofdesign, the event that takes place each year in Copenhagen, Denmark, to celebrate the finest expressions of international design. Makers of editions, buyers, designers, architects and enthusiasts will arrive for this intense programme of events. "I maestri della bellezza" is the title of the exhibition involving a small selection of Italian companies, called upon to represent the true essence of design Made in Italy. Barovier&Toso, standard bearer of the art of glass in Murano, could not help but be included in their ranks. The show takes place at the residence of the Italian Ambassador in Copenhagen, Luigi Ferrari, who is proud to play host the initiative. The so-called ballroom of the sumptuous 18th-century building, with historic interiors and Venetian decorations, has been set aside to welcome the exhibition. A prestigious context from which to address the Scandinavian and Northern European market, connected to a relatively simple, essential décor approach, but also capable of appreciating the elegance and uniqueness of Barovier&Toso’s creations. The luxury of craftsmanship guided by centuries of family tradition, enhanced by an innovative avant-garde vision, is the expression of beauty and mastery, fully in tune with the theme of the show. The pieces chosen for display include the limited edition of Crepuscolo Aurato, a precious vase made in tones of green and 24K gold leaf, and the refined, technological Camparino table lamp, featuring the rostrato technique, which is also the protagonist of the Ercole lamp, presented in Copenhagen in the small and larger versions, with a dual light source for an even more surprising effect. The exhibit is completed by the Samurai lamp, in a limited edition made in collaboration with Misha, which has decorated the shade with hand-painted coloured peonies. For their contributions to this initiative, Barovier&Toso would like to thank the partner Anker&Co Italian Trade Agency, representing the brand in the Scandinavian peninsula and Iceland, the Italian Embassy in Copenhagen and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Denmark, the organizers of the event.
