Villa Ca’ De Vignasse

Genoa | Italy

Spread over three levels, in the pine forest of the Arenzano Golf Club, on the coast of the western Ligurian Riviera. An outbuilding, an olive grove, an orchard and a rose garden are annexed to the villa, dating back to the early 1900s, as well as an enchanting flower garden, which houses the swimming pool. The aim of the project was to give the villa all the comforts of a residence to be enjoyed every day. EligoStudio opted for a conservative restoration, enhancing the pre-existing architectural features, however choosing to create two large openings that would connect the staircase with the hall. The original floors have been restored and given new life, while the furnishings, excluding the upholstered furniture, have been completely custom-designed by EligoStudio, using fine local materials, delicate colors and a series of details borrowed from the maritime aesthetic, without ever falling in marine clichés. For the living room, Barovier&Toso has created an imposing custom-made suspension, personalizing Clepsydra, and the two Veronese table lamps, arranged symmetrically on the sides of the sofa area.
