Private Villa on the Alster Lake

Hamburg, Germany

The villa is located in an exclusive location in Hamburg, near the Alster lake, and belongs to a couple who are passionate about art and travel. The interior design project, by Gisa Narracott of the Lightcouture studio, took care to integrate the travel memories of the couple and to highlight the largeformat images on the walls through lighting. Through a great sense of color and proportion, the interiors have taken shape and character. The living environment is defined by communicating and divisible areas, a fluid and versatile way of exploiting space. The modern fireplace and the sofa area coexist with the bar corner, in a refined ensemble. In the centre, the Alexandria chandelier, with two levels of lights, with white lampshades in pleated fabric. Sober in its design and proportions, it diffuses an enveloping light and gives the room a discreet charm.
